Despite a rather large back molar tooth attempting to spoil our fun, we had a very busy, lovely weekend.
A Friday night visit from Bubba’s lovely uncles complete with the gift of a new xylophone (and earplugs for mumma … just joking).
More successful feeding of herself (left-handed just like grandma).
A lovely baby shower for our gorgeous friend with all of our mother’s group mums and bubs.
Celebrating the 3rd anniversary of Beary’s Gotcha Day.
An attempt at Bubba’s 17 month photos. This endeavour was the only one completely foiled by aforementioned tooth and associated pain, so we’ll try again in the next couple of days.
The start of imagination, where cuddlies/lovies/teddies are treated like bubbas. This will have it’s very own post in the next few days as I take myself out of the instant to find my phone or camera to capture it on film.
For now, I’m just trying to live in these extra special moments where kissing, cuddling, sharing, feeding, wrapping up and caring for her toys is beginning. The start of imagination. It’s amazing to watch and knocks me over (as it does her Aunty who witnessed it for the first time yesterday)!
And finally, exhaustion at the end of a super busy weekend.
We hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that the week ahead brings you many moments to smile about … and be present in!
