More ridonculousness

Ridonculous may being a made up word for things that are so ridiculously cute, there’s just no existing word to adequately describe them.

So, this week Bubba has done some ridonculously cute things. And she’s so freaking gorgeous while doing them, that I just can’t stop myself from joining in.

Like when I puffed my cheeks up with air over and over and over (and over) just to see the sheer delight on her face as she ‘popped’ the cheek and all the air came out, followed by the most delicious giggle.

She is such a neat and tidy little person. This could be mimicking because I’m always picking stuff up and putting it away. But, she notices things even I’ve missed. Either with a point of the finger accompanied by an uh oh, or she’ll just wander over and pick up a sock that I’ve dropped while walking a bundle of wash to the machine. But she won’t hand me the sock. She’ll walk to the machine (front loader), put the sock in, close the door, then back out and close the laundry door.

Bubba has always loved seeing the dogs when we get home from wherever we’ve been, but this week when we’ve come home at night from work and day care, her excitement is physical. She starts to jiggle, points at the front door and calls Beeba and Beary in her little high-pitched voice. So. Cute.

Oh, and she’s pointing at the dog’s water bowl and saying bottle. Because she knows that’s their drink. I’m not even joking.

Clean your teeth with the bubba toothbrush? Oh no, pretty lady – I’ll use your electric toothbrush please. But don’t turn it on, because it makes me jump every time! I had to stop myself from being a mean mumma and turning it on and off – because you guessed it, she looks ridonculous when she jumps!

Having always been musical, Bubba has started doing this thing where if she hears some music and she’s going to dance, she first looks at me and tilts her head to the side – as if to let me know the dancing’s about to start so so that I keep watching, and to start the movement – then the dancing begins. It’s ridonculous.ly.cute.

It is.

(Even though my bias may be off the scale.)

I wish I lived closer. Bubba looks like she would give some really great little girl loves. I guess I’ll just have to take Bella and Beary’s word for it.

  3. Bubba’s cuteness-factor is top-of-the-charts. It must be a Poppy thing! :)
