Maybe this will fix it?

In an attempt to use every tip/trick/remedy we can to alleviate (or even just reduce) Bubba’s night coughing so we can go back to sleeping through the night, we apply a eucalyptus chest rub – front and back – before she goes to sleep.

We’ve been doing it for so long now, that Bubba has the hang of it and last night decided she could do it herself!

Some for Love Bug:

Some on her finger – what’s that for Bubba?

Oh, some for mumma! Thank you gorgeous girl.

Ever the sharing caring love that she is.

Sadly, it didn’t make much of a dent in last night’s coughing, but we’ll keep trying!

Aw, if sweetness was a cure, she’d be right as rain!

  2. Poor Bubba; feel better soon.

I found you yesterday via Whatimeant2say, and have now read straight through from the beginning. Love to you and Miss Poppy. Thank you for sharing your story with the world. As a person who had a hysterectomy at 25, I certainly have been through the wringer about body choices and the possibility of parenting. Big fat applause for you for being true to yourself and doing what you needed to do to be a fulfilled human being.

Sherman sends big sniffs and a howlo from Alberta, Canada for Bella and Beary. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed your lovely doggies.

    • Thank you for stopping by and for sharing our story. I’ve been thinking about your comment since I read it yesterday and I just can’t fathom what facing such a huge life altering moment at 25 would be like. I love what I’ve read of your blog and will definitely join your subscribers. Bubba sends cuddles, Bella and Beary send cuddles and woo woos to Sherman.

      • I love the woo woo part! I used to have a woo woo dog, and it warmed my heart every time she sang to me.
Having such a big surgery while I was so young was a big deal, but it had become by far the best option because of my health. As hard as it was (and sometimes still is) I would still have made the same choice if I had to do it again.
We will look forward to reading more about your beautiful family.

      • There’s nothing quite like the woo woo is there? And it means different things at different times, bless his fuzzy little heart! Bella is the gift giver – every time we come home, or someone she loves arrives at our house – she runs to bring us one of her toys. Dogs are the best :)
