You know Bubba and I love our Saturday morning wander around the farmers’ market. Well, yesterday was no exception.
Bubba discovered the joys of brioche – warm from the baker at the market. I’m still trying to decide whether it will become brioche bread pudding, or banana French toast with chocolate hazelnut sauce?
There was no way we were getting out of the flower tent without these.
Bubba insisted on carrying them home in the car. Then she carried one stem around for the rest of the day, offering a sniff to anyone who wanted one (and one particular 4-pawed creature who is a little to tough boy for that kind of caper – at least he was yesterday).
Bella got particularly shrouded with flower love.
Some of our produce became Mexican dinner (a first for Bubba and she loved it).
Some became a cake of love – vanilla fudge with lemon chocolate frosting.
Hope you all had/are having a wonderful Saturday!
