Everyone has their own kind of loves

It’s interesting watching Bubba and the ways in which she shares her love. Even when it’s just us and the puppies at home.

While I still get the full range of loves (and realise I am the luckiest mumma in the world for it), Bella tends to get strokes while Bubba has her bottle and full stacks on cuddles. Beary also gets strokes during bottle time, and at other times if he’s relaxed enough, but doesn’t get the stacks on cuddles.

I think my two youngest are still working out how to acknowledge their love for each other without freaking the other one out.

There’s been a new kind of love thrown into the mix over the past few days and nights.

Each time I put Bubba to bed, once she’s all settled in she calls out Bear Bear. Both dogs come to her and poke their snouts through the bars of her cot, at which point she dissolves into giggles. However it’s Beary she calls back if she doesn’t have a chance the first time to bury her hand in his fur and give him loves.

It’s like their own special little nigh nighs message. And it’s ridonculous!

Mumma to Poppy Grace (born January 2011); forever friend to my furry buddies Bella & Bear; love spending time with family & friends, cooking, reading, writing, design & watching trashy TV (when I find time)! I try to perform one random act of kindness each day & think more people should learn a lesson in unconditional love & acceptance from our 4-legged furry friends. This is my journey to motherhood & beyond - single by chance, mother by choice.
