Bubba loves cats, just not ones that are SO big

FGM (Fairy God Mother for those of you new to our blog) took Bubba and I to the Madagascar 3 Family Premiere on Sunday morning. Not that we were ever going to attempt holding the attention of my almost 20 month old (I know, 20 months – what?) through the movie. We were just going for the fun beforehand. You know – balloons, face painting.

Meeting the cast.

Oh no we are not pretty ladies. We are leaving here right now. THIS VERY MINUTE!

And I’m not even joking. Get me out of here. NOW. Let’s go for coffee instead.

With a cat more the kind of size I’m used to. We could go shopping too, maybe a new handbag will help me feel better?

And we could play the piano and sing some songs while we’re here too. Maybe we could sing The Lion Sleeps Tonight?

Time to go home now – before the movie finishes and Alex the Lion comes out again.

He might have a thing for handbags too!

So adorable!! Peanut was afraid of mascots in costume for years. She still may be. They are pretty scary. You should see the picture of her, at about Poppy’s age, trying to get away from a giant Mickey Mouse.

  2. Too cute and I love that last picture, such a little lady :)

  3. Oh well, ya gotta start somewhere!

  4. Awwww. Some things are just too scary….

  5. Alex the Lion does look a bit intimidating!
