I’ll kiss it better mumma

As every mumma does, whenever Love Bug hurts herself I always say mumma kiss it better then kiss wherever she is hurt.

On the weekend I was cooking and opened the oven door – only to then walk into it. Hard. Point of contact: my bare shin. Ouchie!

And Ouchie I said. Bubba, who had been standing a safe distance (she knows she’s not to stand near the oven when I open it) pulled my hand to move me away from the oven then she said Ow and Bubba.

Then she leaned down and kissed my shin.

And just for good measure she gave it a big noisy cuddle too.

And kissed it again.

Love. That. Kid.

This photo I took last night – each time she remembered I’d hurt myself she’d come over and give my leg a kiss or cuddle.

*Sigh*
