Bubba heaven

Yesterday, after mumma’s very busy week leading up to selling things Bubba has grown out of at the market (which unfortunately was nowhere near as busy as expected), we went for a play date with our friends from mother’s group.

Our friends we visited have a lovely big back deck and a huge garden with lots of fun ride on toys and even a ride in car. Bubba was a very good first time driver. Let’s hope it’s that easy in 15 years time!

They also have a gorgeous 12 year old grey cat named Bella. It was Bubba heaven!

We had a wonderful time catching up, hearing some new baby on the way news, enjoying a glass of bubbles and watching our little love bugs playing.

The peace was broken by Bubba’s very loud crying at one point. She was standing staring down the side of the house, pointing in the direction that Bella had disappeared to. Big fat tears fell from her eyes. I tried to explain that cats are less likely to hang around for big Bubba loves and pats than dogs, but that Bella is still her friend and will come back soon.

Happily playing with the kids when she spotted Bella again, she ran to her side for more loves.

I think she may have been trying to figure out how she could slip out unnoticed - with Bella in her arms!

  1. Riding toys and a cat! That’s what I call a fun day.
