On my very eclectic and long YouTube playlist, there can be found any number of tunes being sung by the Glee cast. One of them is The Star Spangled Banner.

I’ve mentioned before that I wonder if somehow Bubba doesn’t know deep down that she’s half-American. And I wondered this again yesterday.

She was sitting on the kitchen bench having a little afternoon snack of sultanas and the anthem came on. She was doing a little move to the music, so I picked up my phone and managed to capture the last couple of lines.

I love that she throws her arms back seemingly in perfect timing to hitting the note at the end of this line: O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave.

I love the joy that music brings her.

Maybe she’ll sing? Maybe she’ll be on Glee (or it’s 2027 equivalent)?

Or maybe she just knows she’s part star spangled Bubba? Who will always shine bright in her mumma’s eyes.
