Thud

That was the sound of reality hitting me as I woke to the sound of my alarm at ridiculous o’clock this morning, got ready in a daze and then had to wake my sleeping Bubba to get her ready for daycare and out the door.

It’s back to work day.

After two glorious weeks of holidays.

my adorable kitchen hand

A staycation where we spent time with family and friends, had picnics, cooked, played with blocks, read stories, painted, went to the beach, danced, sang, went for walks, swam in the pool and generally just had a wonderful time.

I was sad leaving my three loves this morning and I’m sure the furry ones are going to miss all the extra loves they’ve had each day in the past two weeks.

fuzzy loves bella10 hours is going to feel like an eternity today! Is it home time yet?

It’s so hard to go back to work after being on an extended break. I just went back to work last Wednesday after being off for almost 2 weeks. It’s hard to leave the little ones after getting to spend so much quality time together. Hope your first day back goes well!

  2. Harsh reality is the worst. For everybody concerned! Extra lots of singing, dancing, playing, and loves tonight!
