Even in the middle of winter, I like to sleep with one foot out from under the covers.

I like to have that little bit of cool to regulate my temperature and keep me from overheating.

Bubba has, until very recently, slept in a sleep suit – a little sleeping bag to keep her covered at night. She is still a total wriggler so trying to keep sheets and a blanket on her is almost impossible.

Even though I would still put her to bed with the sleep suit on, about a month ago I went in to check on her just before I went to bed, only to find she’d taken it off. That happened every night for a week, so I’ve stopped putting her to bed in it.

The other thing I’ve noticed since she has stopped sleeping in her sleep suit? She sleeps with one foot out from under the covers.

Just like her mumma.
