It tickles!

Bubba was reading her bedtime story last night while having her bottle. As I’m the one who is usually holding the book and doing the reading, I found myself with an arm spare – so I reached out and tickled her.

Tickling her is nothing new and in fact is a multi-daily occurrence. I absolutely adore the sound of her giggle so I will do anything I can to induce it.

As I wriggled my fingers around her belly she gave me a look.

Then, instead of just giggling and squirming away like she usually would, she put the book down and looked at me, not quite removing her bottle, but pushing it to the side of her mouth.

Mumma, it tickles!

Oh yeah, new words. Every single day.

An extra special shout out to my Aunty and Bubba’s Great Aunty who reads our blog every day: happy 70th birthday! Bubba made you a special video this morning and we hope you have a lovely day. x

  2. That’s a great new word / phrase. I hope lots of things tickle her for her whole life, and the giggle makes frequent appearances.

  3. How adorable! I too hope she finds lots in life that tickles her.
