I’ve always wanted one of those

I’ve noticed myself saying this a lot lately ‘I’ve always wanted one of those … and now I’ve got one‘ as I pick up divine daughter. Or cuddle Bella or Beary. I really am a lucky mumma, even when Bubba is feeling a little more like this.

welcome to grumpsville. population me.

It seems autumn and the cooler weather brings sniffles, 15 months brings teeth and a frustration trying to communicate. And a definite need for extra cuddles. It’s a shame I can only control the last one!

As another month begins, I want to say a huge thank you to readers who stop by every day, those who are new to our journey, those who have been with us from the start, and those who just drop by occasionally (although if you subscribe or follow us – at the bottom right of this page – you’ll be able to hear from us every day).

Our visitor statistics for last month were our highest ever and from all over the world. In the past two months, we’ve had more visitors than we did our whole first year of bumpyroadtobubba.

Wow. Yep, wow – we’re so happy we get to share our bumps (and smooths too!) with you all.

  1. Poor Bubba…. those teethies are causing pain for sure…. it is wonderful to see the blessings you have. We all take these things fro granted from time-to-time and your wonderful blog reminds us to be grateful. Great posting and we hope more and more people find your wonderful blog. 🙂 We have to admit, its hard to imagine it being autumn right now as we look out at the flowers, blossoms, leafing trees…. Please excuse us for we do not know, do you get much snow in Australia?
    God Bless You!
    the collies and chuck 🙂

    1. We do get snow in Australia, but not where we live (in Sydney). In winter, it rarely gets below about 10 degrees celsius during the day in winter (and that’s COLD for us). Nothing like when I visited my sister during winter when she lived in Chicago! Do you get a lot of snow where you are? 🙂

      1. Ah, interesting! Yes, we get lots of snow usually. This pas winter was the most mild in almost a century. We get winters like Chicago here… probably a little bit more snow. 🙂

  2. Your stories and your Bubba are always the cutest – whether they’re happy or not all the way happy.

Love and licks to all of you cuties,
    Cupcake
