I am not alone in absolutely loving Sherry, John, Clara & Hamburger (aka Young House Love) and I have my sister to thank for introducing me to this gorgeous little family and their fabulous DIY everything.

This idea I got from them a while ago … I think it’s awesome and so look forward to the 14th of each month when Bubba and I make another photo for the collection.

At the moment I’m trying to decide what to do with the photos when she turns 1. Sure, that’s a while away yet, but a girl needs to think about these things. One option is to frame just the numbers in one big frame. The other is to put each photo in a smaller frame but hang them all together on her wall.

It’s wonderful to watch her growing and changing every day and nowhere is it more apparent than when I put the new month’s photos up. Her moods, facial expressions, emotions are all there for the world (well, our world at least) to see.

It’s hard when you’re a busy parent to find the time to document everything you’d like to. As yet, I’ve not found anyone to pay me to stay at home and do just that, but this is a picture diary if nothing else – and they say a picture tells a thousand words.

Hopefully this shared idea provides some inspiration.
