I can’t believe it’s not the weekend yet!

Honestly, this has been the longest week ever. Ever. Ever ever.

Well, maybe it’s just the longest week since I’ve been back at work full-time. It feels like it’s been about a month since I spent an entire day with my lovely creatures.

That’s what happens when you run out the door at 7:30am with your Love Bug on one hip, all of our bags on the other shoulder, trying not to turn around so you don’t see the sad faces of the puppy dogs as you leave – knowing it will be 10 hours until you see them again.

The crying that’s been happening this week has made me extra tired I’m sure. I cry when I drop bubba off. She starts it and my heart just can’t take it. I cried less this morning, but I still cried. I cried 2 nights ago when I missed (or rather, it didn’t come at its allocated time) the express bus home and it took me twice as long as it should have to get home to my loves. Twice as long on public transport = tears. On the bus. Lovely! Who is that crazy woman crying on the bus?

And while I don’t want Love Bug to grow up too fast, it will be nice when she can stay awake a little after 6:30pm – so that I feel like I’ve seen her for more than 8 seconds in each day. When I tried to be selfish tonight and keep her up (it was only 6:25pm – but we weren’t in our dimly lit bedroom having our pre-sleep cuddle & chat), this is what happens:

Tired, sad bubba. So I gave her extra cuddles. I feel a little horrid taking her photo like this, but I am photo blogging her entire first year, ups and downs so I suppose there have to be a couple of non smiling photos.

At least when I got back out to the couch, this beautiful face was waiting for me:

My other beautiful furry friend is enjoying the last of the daylight outside.

I am so incredibly lucky. What an amazing little family I have. Thank you guardian angels!

Oh, I do have one request? Can you please make Friday come quicker next week?
