Bubba has been trying out lots of new sounds in the past week or so. And concentrating really hard on words I repeat over and over, attempting to mimic them back to me.

But she whispers them. It’s like they’re secret, and she’s testing them out before she has the confidence to use them.

It’s so freaking cute I may bust.

And just when you think your week can’t get any better, I dropped her at daycare yesterday morning and she blew me a kiss!

Yes way!

I’ve been blowing her a kiss from the door of daycare (after we have our usual kisses and cuddles) every morning since last August. Yesterday morning, I turned around to blow her a kiss and she beat me to it. She waved, then put her hand to her mouth, smacked a kiss on it and threw it my way. Then this morning she did it again.

I know, right? Amazeballs.

I love that kid to bits and pieces – she’s so squishable right now.
