If you’re an Aussie who happened to be a teenager in the 1980s, kids in the kitchen probably makes you think of this, the Melbourne-based New Romantic band. You did wonder what today’s ear worm was going to be – wonder no more!
Bubba loves to help me when I’m cooking. I was making broccoli patties (good for hiding all manner of veggies to all of your mummas of fussy eating toddlers out there), and she thought they needed more oregano.
And she was right.
We’ve made a few Pinterest inspired sweet tooth recipes, like Nutella sea salt fudge and Nutella sweet salty pretzel cookies. (Mumma might be having a moment with Nutella!)
And we made these super yummy spanakopita snacks too.
As you can see, we’ve been in the kitchen quite a lot recently. So much so that Bubba has made herself at home … in the sink!

See looks so cute and comfortable, hope she doesn’t outgrow the sink soon. My kids were always too busy to worry about helping but the newfs love to help in the kitchen by blocking the way between the stove and everything else. Really to step over with pans, water etc.
They’re such little dogs too! 😉
