C words

Although I may sound a little Sesame Street, this past weekend at our house was brought to us by the letter C.

As I rounded the corner from the kitchen to head up the stairs Bubba yelled catch! She has very willing older furry siblings who are happy to catch when she throws. They’re just not overly willing to drop the ball back at her feet.

Beary got a great (triple stitched, so we’ll see how long it takes before our lovely mutts get through each level of stitching!) birthday present from his Grandma. Bubba has been carrying him to Beary if he gets left behind. Cocodile! (And no, I didn’t spell that incorrectly, that’s how Bubba says it.)

I asked Love Bug to come to me at one point. Instead she pointed at it, tilted her head and asked Couch? She also spent quite a bit of time on Sunday on her little couch. I think one of her big teeth is giving her a bit of a hard time because she hasn’t been that still for a while!

She snuggled onto her couch with her blankie and her two extra special bankies. Which are tea towels. One has dogs on it, the other chickens. Naturally.

And finally, after she’d finished her bottle last night and scooched over to give Bella some loves before going to bed, she knelt up and launched herself at Beary: cuggles! Cuddles indeed sweet girl.

I had other lovely cuddles yesterday. I made the mistake of sitting down for one minute before tackling my 84 million jobs while Bubba had her daytime sleep. I wanted to get up, but I was being held puppy hostage!
