Hurrying to get us out the door on time, I wondered where Bubba was. When I rounded the corner to her bedroom this is what I saw.
Oh, hi mumma! What are you doing Love Bug? I get Apollo! {Looking quite pleased with herself and her little monkey action climbing on the cot which she’s never done before.}
We eventually managed to get out the door and were wandering along when one of us became sidetracked looking for ants. Ants are her latest creature to stop and say hi to. Sure, it’s going to take us even longer to get anywhere now, but is so cute to watch her fascination when she finds one – or twenty! Bubba was so sidetracked that she dropped Apollo.
What happened next made me so high-five myself silently for the second time this week.
As she bent down to pick him up and dust him off, she said sorry Apollo, sorry then she gave him a big cuddle. Love you Apollo.
Love you Bubba. You are such a lovely, caring, thoughtful little friend!
