My new job is with a very large global company. Today was day 7 and I had the opportunity to be in a room where the CEO spoke. It made me glad I’d joined the company. I felt a little like I’d drunk the Kool Aid, but it was hard not to be impressed.

Then I got to grandma’s to pick Bubba up and she was holding this.

It’s a little hard to see in the photo but it’s a ribbon with felt birds and balls on it. In all there are three birds and seven balls. And do you want to know what Bubba did?

SHE COUNTED THEM!!!!

One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten.

I know right? Amazeballs!!

I am so proud. And oh, so impressed. Maybe even more impressed than I was an hour earlier hearing our global CEO speak.
