I was driving home Wednesday night and saw this out the corner of my eye.
No, we haven’t moved to Jurassic Park! We live approximately 6kms {3.5 miles} from the centre of Sydney. And there are dinosaurs in the car park.
Bubba loves diosaurs so I crossed my fingers and toes that they’d be there still on Thursday night so I could take her to show her them. I was a little fearful that she might be scared by them. They look pretty ferocious close up, and they are big!
I also wished that our friend Rumpy didn’t live so far away. He knows exactly what to do when dinosaurs attack.
I need not have concerned myself with Bubba’s reaction. Diosaurs mumma, DIOSAURS!!! She raced up to the fence. I pat? No Bubba, they’re not real dinosaurs and they have to stay on that side of the fence.
{They were behind an auction house, and if the number of families with little kids visiting is anything to go by, they might attract higher bidding than originally anticipated!}
After saying hello to each of the dinosaurs a number of times, and taking a few photos, it was time to head home. Bye bye diosaurs said Bubba, waving them goodbye and blowing htem kisses over her shoulder as we walked away.
When we rounded the corner to where our car was parked, she started to cry.
It’s okay Bubba, if they were real we wouldn’t have been able to get anywhere near that close to them!
