Working from home appeals to a lot of people, me included. Working for a global company and within a global team, there are times when we have calls outside of ‘normal’ working hours, so these need to be taken from home.Ā I’m sure no-one on our last team call had any idea what was going on at my end of the phone.
This is the reality of working from home, for me at least.
Earlier this week I was on another call when Bella and Beary decided to have a little sing along … right behind my chair. And no, the phone wasn’t muted at my end! Oh well, what’s a little background noise between colleagues?
As the weather cools, it can get quite cold in my office, so I relocated for a bit of afternoon sunshine.
What do you mean you’re working? How could that possibly be more important than playing with us? What do you mean you have to work or we won’t have tokens for kibble?
Hmph.
I’ll just be here when you wake up to yourself change your mind.

Sweet, patient doggies.
I think that work thing is WAYYYYY over-rated!
So do we but mumma says we might have to live under a park bench if she doesn’t do it. And she says that wouldn’t be as much fun as it might sound! B&B x
And walks are definitely between conference calls. Really!
We’re going to tell mumma that, she’s not on board with that concept!!
Aw, mine does the same when I’m working from home – puts his head right next to/ON my laptop and then grumbles like an old man right beside me. But how lucky to work from home with such beautiful company š
So lovely! It must make you want to work from home every day š
The thought of Bella and Beary’s chorus made me smile š
As someone who has worked from my house for over 15 years, I have decided that their is a psychic connection between an animals vocal chords and the mute button. Mute off – dog barks. I know this is true because it happens on all my conference calls with other people with animals in their offices. Oh yes, it also works with infants. WOOOOOOOOOO! We telecommutes are used to it and it adds to the background of our lives. Oh, Louise likes to knock my hand off the mouse (perfect height) when she is done with me working at my desk.
Beary and Louise have the same trick š
