We’ve all got them. Friends that no amount of time or space can get between. Friends who may live on the other side of the street, country or planet but live in your heart always.

Friends who you can pick up a conversation and carry on whether you spoke with them last week or last year. Friends you know you’ll grow old entwined in each other’s lives.

Some of those are friendships made during childhood. Others at school or uni or work. Then, there are others you meet in totally unexpected places.

This one’s for you my gorgeous friend Emma. I am loving you, and loving you being in the same city as me again, even if it’s just for a week and we only have snippets of time together during that week.
