Hop on mumma, I drive you

When you’re the parent of a toddler and it gets really quiet it can be a good thing {they’re asleep} or a bad thing {they’re up to mischief}.

It got a little quiet last night and I thought Bubba was in her bedroom playing. As I walked up the hall toward her room I heard a giggle from my room.

And saw this.

hop on mumma

What are you doing Bubba? I going somewhere. Hop on mumma, I drive you. Not one to miss a road trip, I jumped on the bed and she tucked me under one of the pillows. Where are we going Bubba? We go to see my Aunty. That sounds like a lot of fun Love Bug. I’m sure she will be very happy to see us and will happily join our road trip!

It’s the first time she’s built an imaginary place of her own, and she couldn’t wait to share it with me. I’m sure looking forward to all of the pillow and lounge forts in our future.
