There’s a saying about little kids. Silence is suspicious. The same could be said of Bella and Beary, but usually only when we arrive home. You know, like if we’ve been to the corner. Or been away for a week. Same reaction.

Boisterous.

Bella’s bringing of toys and her tail thumping so hard against the wall I fear it may wag right off or put a hole in the plaster. Beary’s aroooo aroooo as he tells you the story of his day. Their zoomies up and down the hallway until we’re all in the same room together.

Beautifully boisterous.

When Love Bug and I came back from breakfast and the pet store, it grew suspiciously quiet ever so quickly. I’d say 15 seconds. Which is some sort of record. I was in Love Bug’s room with her and had put my shopping bag down in the hallway. When I turned around, the shopping bag was there, but Bella and Beary were nowhere to be seen.

Apparently they’d helped themselves to a treat each from my bag and were snacking on them contentedly. Dare I suggest scoffing them in the hopes mumma might not notice?
