This week we’ve been tagged It in a game of Tag … and been awarded a Versatile Blogger Award . That’s a lot of love flowing in, and we appreciate it!

I’ll start with the Versatile Blogger and thank a mumma on the other side of the world to me – in Fort Collins. One of the great things about this blogging world is that I had to google map Fort Collins to find out where it was. I knew it was in the USA, just wasn’t entirely sure which part. The funny thing with google maps is that when giving directions it suggested I kayak across the Pacific Ocean. Um, exactly how fit do you think I am? I would struggle to kayak across the bath right now! Not to mention the SHARKS!

I digress.

We were also tagged It by the Collies and Chuck. It would sure be a busy game of Tag in their yard if we were all there! And even though Trevor could probably just hang out and watch instead of participate, I think he’d be a great sideline judge. Special loves headed your way buddy. Thanks for the tag.

So, as with most things, there are some rules to follow for both awards: the Versatile Blogger stipulates we tell you 7 things about us; and the game of tag provides 10 questions we need to answer. That’s a LOT more you’re going to know about us by the end of this post.

One
Bubba’s latest fun thing is to stand up on the couch, put her hands in the air and wiggle until she loses her balance and falls back on the couch. This is hilarious, but this morning she flung herself back with a little too much force and just out of my reach and fell to the floor. Bubbas are so resilient, she cried for a minute or so and then climbed up to do it all again!

Two
Beary is getting better I think. I left the house twice today: once Bubba and I left to go for a quick walk for mumma to get a coffee. Beary still fretted, but I couldn’t hear him all the way down the end of our street like I could yesterday. The second time I left, my brother in law was here with Bubba and Beary didn’t make a peep. Let’s hope tomorrow he is even better.

Three
I firmly believe that the only person standing in the way of you and doing whatever you want to do is you. I have Bubba to prove it. I also raised a fair amount of money for a charity years ago, with no fundraising experience, because I thought I could!

I learnt tonight how to link something here without putting the full URL in. I’m excited about that. Now I just have to learn how to put all of my awards and a blog roll on my home page. One thing at a time.

I love chocolate. No, seriously. Not a day goes by that I don’t have it. I don’t know if it’s just luck or that my body actually thinks it’s a fundamental food group – but it has no effect on my weight or my skin.

Six
Bubba and I have not spent a night more than one room away from each other. And I’m still having major issues adjusting to that one wall between us. She seems to be fine with it.

Bella is so incredibly patient with Bubba. It’s utterly beautiful to watch.

I’m quite the insomniac at times – with a tendency to worry too much – so I am quite often up at night.

I’m super happy being me. If I wasn’t me, I wouldn’t be Mumma to Bubba, Bella and Beary – and I can’t fathom a life where that wasn’t me!

4. What Are You Wearing Right Now?
A sweater (it’s gotten a little cool here today) and a cute Hollister skirt from my last trip to the US. I was dressed up earlier today because I went to the theatre. Other than when I go to work, it’s been a while since I had super high heels on in the middle of the day!

5. What Scares You?
Something happening to me and leaving my three gorgeous kids without their mumma. Or losing one of them.

6. The Best And Worst Of Blogging
The best thing is the amazing friends we’ve made and the fabulous and oh-so-varied stories we read, and lives we share, every day. The worst is not having more time to do it!

7. The Last Website I Visited?

8. What Is The One Thing I Would Change About Myself?
It’s nothing I can change, but if I had a magic wand, I’d have more time with my three gorgeous kids (and for the many ideas I have which I should try to turn into realities).

Um, no. Not at all. Ugg boots and fuzzy love are all we need to keep us warm.

10. Tell Us Something About The Dogs That Tagged You
I don’t know where to start about these guys, so I’ll say the most important thing: I wish we lived closer to these friends so we could all go and play at their house. Not sure how Bella and Beary would feel about a winter playdate, but a summer one would be fine. We wish our friends Bassa, Cupcake, Uptown Dog, Bongo, Sage, Rumpy, Bones and the Love of My Dogs, DogDaz and Misty Shores crews could all come too – what a fun play date that would be!
