200 blogs, wow!

And at least 200 things to be thankful for, which I was going to list. But Bubba is teething, so my list will have to wait and tonight I will be grateful for these three things.

Bubba being so desperate to cuddle me when I go to get her out of her cot after her sleep, that she puts her tiny arms through the bars of her cot and puts them around my waist and pulls me to her for snuggles and love. Sigh.

The enormous smile on her precious little face when she leaned up against the shower screen tonight for the first time to kiss me through the glass, then poked her head around the glass to kiss my face, and realised that was better, if not so funny. Bliss.

Tonight we went for a walk together around our neighbourhood. All four of us. For the first time. It was a little walk and a few people looked at me as if I was a crazy woman, with a baby in the pouch and a huge dog on the end of each arm, but I couldn’t have been happier, or more grateful for where I was in that twenty minutes.

Actually, there is a fourth thing I’d like to be thankful for – if I can just be a total girl for a moment, or really any woman (and some boys) with a pulse – I’d like to be thankful for Ryan Gosling and the Dirty Dancing scene in Crazy, Stupid, Love. Actually, even if you didn’t have a pulse, that scene would give you one!
