If you see a little bunny,
and it’s nose is very runny,
and you think it’s very funny
… well it’s snot!
When we were kids and someone had a cold, this little rhyme was bandied about.
I remembered it this morning as I looked at my poor little Love Bug – precious soft skin around her nose doing a good impersonation of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, her nose running despite mumma trying everything to stop it.
I said the rhyme to Bubba, Tickle Bugs in residence, and we had a few giggles.
I’ll take all the giggles I can at the moment. Having a cold is so miserable for a Bubba!

Yellow belly custard,
Green snot pie
Mix it all together with a dead dogs eye
Slap it in a bucket nice ‘n thick
Then wash it all down with a cup o’ cold sick =circa 1950’s, UK 🙂
