I am so eternally grateful that Bubba is generally a healthy, happy little girl. Yesterday afternoon and last night she was sick. She was vomiting and had a fever.
As I held her warm little body to me, I thought about all of the parents in the world dealing with babies who are sick. I mean really sick. Ones who have things that can’t be fixed.
I can’t imagine how heartbreaking that would be. How it would test everything you were – all of your beliefs and hopes and dreams.
So thank you Bubba for being you. And for choosing me to be your mumma – to look after you for always.

Sick kiddos are the worst. I’m surprised you found a minute to blog! Hope you all get some rest and feel better soon.
I hope Bubba is feeling better today. Once when I was “sick” I had to wear a cone on my head. I hope Bubba is not wearing a cone.
