(Not wordless) Wednesday | Water

It’s raining in Sydney this morning. Drops as big as buckets. The kind of rain that comes down sideways. It would be much more fun if it was raining cats and dogs! We’re apparently going to get our average month of rainfall this week.

All of this water makes things a little tricky when you’re walking your toddler to daycare. So here my Love Bug is, all bundled up against the rain.

I'm ready for the rain in my cute raincoat mumma!
I'm not so sure about the rain now that we're outside!

The best part about the rain is that Bubba faces me when she’s in her baby carrier, so we get lots of extra snuggles.

The other water this morning is the salty variety. Falling from my eyes, not the clouds.

I usually love my trip to work each morning – it’s my chance to catch up with my blogging friends, but this morning I cried most of the way. My heart goes out to our gorgeous friend Sage and her family for the loss of their beloved Toby. What a beautiful friend he was, and a brave battle he fought. We’re sending you lots of Bubba and fuzzy love (and some from mumma too).

Give those you love an extra cuddle today and tell them how much you love them. You just never know when a cuddle will be your last one.

  1. Hi!
Bubba is so cute. Her expressions are amazing. πŸ™‚ Like you we cried over the loss of Toby… amazing how much come to care about each other in WordPress. Lots of collie hugs to you all… πŸ™‚

  2. You are so incredibly sweet to care so much about our Toby–I had my own tears over your post. He was a sweetheart. Hug Bella, Bear and, most of all, little Poppy for us. I am off to see my little Poppy on Friday!

    1. I will definitely hug my gorgeous creatures and you give your little Poppy a hug from us. I’ll be sure to check out if the cute hat lady is at the farmers’ market next time we visit πŸ™‚

Bubba does look lovely in her raincoat. Yes, it was such sad news to hear about Toby. I read about it when I woke this morning 😦
