There’s something magical about Bubba’s newest pair of tights.

I put them on her and the first thing I thought was maybe she’ll go to Hogwarts? They got me thinking about what she’ll like and what path she’ll decide to follow as she grows up. Will she be a left brain or right brain person? Will she be magical (well, I already think she’s magical, but I’ve got my mumma goggles on!)?

Will she know what she wants to do early in life and stay on one path or will she (like her mumma) meander through different careers and interests doing what she feels works for her at the time.

What kind of books will she like to read? I can’t wait until she gets excited about a series of books – and am so looking forward to our first read of Harry Potter together. Given that she’s my daughter, there will probably be a love of teen fiction in there somewhere; maybe she’ll enjoy Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants as much as I did. And I’ll hardly be able to roll my eyes when she can’t get her nose out of books like Twilight. 

If she’s super smart, we may have to call in back up! Whatever she wants to do, I’ll always make sure she knows that she can do anything!

(Aside re the new tights: sized 1-2 and they’re so Pippi Longstocking on her that I think she’ll be wearing them still at 4!)
