The weather has warmed up and yesterday was a lovely day. Bubba and I went out for a very important breakfast meeting together and I wore a skirt and had bare legs for the first time in months.
Bubba is quite fond of walking along with me holding hands, and at home she often sidles up to me and cuddles my legs. I hadn’t realised (maybe because I’ve been wearing tights or jeans for months), that she runs her arms up my legs when we’re standing still – and this morning all of a sudden out of nowhere there was a little hand on my bottom.
When I realised this we happened to be standing outside a very busy cafe, finishing up our meeting!
Being a mumma is fun. Seriously it is.
I stifled a giggle and scooped her up in my arms – then she proceeded to tuck her little hand down the top of my t-shirt. She likes skin to skin contact when she’s getting tired.
Time to go home for a nap methinks!
Or even just to the car.
