I have the best sous chef ever. Fact.

She’s cute. She’s good fun.

She’s enthusiastic: to watch, listen, help and learn.

She taste tests everything. Before it cooks.

She says cheers when we stop for a drink while we’re cooking.

She says yum yum mumma when she taste tests after our still warm muffins {gluten free: cinnamon, ginger, honey and apple}.

I know you’re thinking that is pretty awesome. It is.

But then this happened. When I offered her one of our pinwheels {haloumi, corn, pea and basil} once they’ve cooled enough to be eat, she had one mouthful and then looked at me with a big smile.

Clever mumma.

I know, right? And I’m not even joking.
