Bubba was sitting on the kitchen bench a few nights ago, flicking through my cookbooks and cooking magazines. No denying that child is mine.
I love that she’s seemingly so interested in helping to choose what we cook and helping me with the preparation, and I hope it’s something we share a love of forever. I’ve had some of my favourite conversations while cooking, preparing and sharing meals with those I love.
She was pointing out pretty cakes and oooh and aaahing about all sorts of things so I thought I’d film her doing it.
Really Bubba? I’m fairly certain you have never eaten popcorn. But if you say so …
I’m so glad she is helping you cook! It’s a wonderful bonding experience. Our Poppy helps her Mom and was instrumental in the new toddler cookbook my daughter just wrote.
So many people have said that’s what I should do – particularly because we’re vegetarian!
Of course she does. EVERYBODY likes popcorn!!
Mumma doesn’t 😦
How fun to have a helper in the kitchen, my niece loves to help me cook. I love her excitement when she turns the page to the popcorn 🙂
I actually laughed out loud with the video. I love the big cookbook. Peanut and I always cooked and baked together, though sometimes we burned things together, but today she is a wonderful Vegan cook.
I’m sure we’ll burn and ruin things together over the years – but I’m looking forward to the disasters as well as the successes. The learning is the fun part!
