Not a day goes by

This photo was taken in the early 1970s. Hanging out with my Daddy after a spot of fishing. I’m not much older than Bubba is now.

not a day goes by

I would give a limb to go fishing with him now. Not for the fishing obviously, but for a few hours in the sunshine chatting with my Daddy.

It’s 27 years today since he was taken from his young family; when he was only a few years older than I am now. Not a day goes by that I don’t wish he was here to scoop Bubba up into one of his cuddles. Just like my favourite photo of my Little Sister and our Daddy. Bubba would love her grandpa. And he her.

I miss him. Every. Single. Day.

  1. I am sorry to hear about your Dad. It looks like he was a great guy and you two cared about each other. Any dad that takes his daughter fishing is doing great in my book. Thanks for sharing and best of luck with everything 🙂

What a beautiful photo! Bubba looks so much like you 🙂 Your daddy would be so proud of the mumma you are & the fabulous job you are doing with your baby girl. He’s not here in person, but he’s here in spirit & a small part of him lives on in Bubba xx
