A couple of times in the past few days I’ve looked at my Bubba and a little girl is looking back at me.
Not even a toddler.
A little girl people!
Her face seems to have changed in the past two weeks.
Her hair is longer all of a sudden and falls so beautifully even when she just wakes up {yes, I may have a little hair envy!}.
Her eyes, which have been so blue since she was born, seem to have lightened a little. I find myself wondering if they might end up the same colour as my sister and I: blue around the outside and green in the middle?
Look at this photo. It was just a happy snap I took last night when she was jumping on my bed {with Beary for company}.

Aw, she’s so beautiful! Our little girl had gold fish rain boots she refused to take off at her age. I came across them the other day and thought . . . when did those stop fitting?! She’s 8 now. Seems like yesterday!
29 months today and I am struggling to believe it! Good to hear you’ve still got the rain boots … I have been keeping a few things {not as many as I’d like!} as she grows out of them 🙂
