Counter surfing

Counter surfing. This is a term you will probably be very familiar with if you have a medium to big sized dog {or a dog who is a super hero and can fly!}. You will be even more familiar if, like in our home, you also have a small person who likes to sit on the kitchen bench while having a snack and chat to her mumma.

This was the counter surfing action at our place yesterday. I don’t want to blame anyone for the increase in this kind of activity of late, but, well: Love Bug!

What are you eating there pretty lady and are you inclined to share?

Counter surfing is a good segue to the next part of this post {not pointing any paws of course!}: we’d like to wish a very Happy Gotcha Day to our friend Rumpy. If you don’t know Rumpy and his family, you should. Rumpy is cute, funny and committed to animal welfare {in his own words}.

Bella and Beary send lots of bitey face fun, Love Bug sends little girl loves, and mumma sends ear and belly scratches and a kiss for the top of your lovely head.

{As the actual birth dates of lot of rescue pets is unknown, most families celebrate the day they got their fuzzy loves, thus the term Gotcha Day.}

    They don’t like me counter surfing! But I can run my nose along the edge with all four paws on the ground to check whether it’s worthwhile risking being caught!

    1. Love that you’re tall enough to just pop your snout over the edge of the counter!
