That’s how many posts I’ve written. Crazy huh?
I figured it was a good day to combine Throwback Thursday and Thankful Thursday.
First the Throwback: this is where it all began.
Now for the thankful part: where do I start? With you! When I started writing about my journey to and experience of motherhood, never did I imagine I’d gain a loyal daily following, some lovely friends in the blogging world and 210,000+ visitors. But here we are. 800 posts later. Each visit means the world to me.
I’m thankful for the creative outlet that writing bumpyroadtobubba gives me. I’m thankful that my Love Bug will have such a detailed chronicle of her childhood {even though she may not see it that way at some stage in her life!}.
As I mentioned yesterday, I’m thankful that I live in a time where being a single girl doesn’t mean I had to give up on my dream to be a mumma. Because the reality is about 84 gazillion times better than the dream.
I’m thankful to my family and friends. I’m thankful to my beautiful fuzzy loves for their unwavering love and the joy they bring to my life.
And of course I’m thankful to this little ray of sunshine, who continues to teach me valuable life lessons daily, and who I love most of all. Like that it’s a good idea to wear a tutu dress on a Monday, and to stop and dance around on the pavement on your way to the car in the morning, singing to your banana, rabbit tucked under your arm.
Because it’s good to be alive!
