Cruelty Free

Bubba and I spent a fun couple of hours on Sunday morning at the Cruelty Free Festival, wandering around the festival chatting to various rescue groups and signing petitions in support of those causes which are important to us.

The festival has been running for a few years and is run to bring the plight of animals to the fore. Animals who need new homes, endangered species who need our help, animals who would prefer they didn’t eat their pals!

We met some lovely puppies {and people}, ate some very tasty vegan treats and danced to some music. I just wish I’d bought us both one of these t-shirts, but now that I’ve found them, I’ll order them online. They come in all sizes, click on the photo to order yours!

once you meet them

I came away with a full list of products manufactured by companies accredited by Choose Cruelty Free. All companies on the list have not tested on animals fo ra period of five or more years. Most have never tested on animals. You can find the list here. There’s also a fabulous {and free} app so you can check on the go.
