Yesterday morning I wrote this Facebook status update:

I am in the Emirates first class lounge, sipping French bubbles about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime in Italy. Ciao!

A few days earlier {and completely unrelated} I had updated my Facebook cover photo to this:

Given that yesterday was April Fool’s day, I was blown away by how many people actually thought my status was real.

Hopeful I guess. One day peeps, one day!
