It really is in the eye of the beholder

If we’re friends or family {anyone who has known me for a while} knows that when I am not feeling the best I turn pale. Very pale. Even fake tan tends to disappear and no amount of makeup can change the colour of my face. What is this colour? A whiter shade of pale.

So, feeling like this yesterday, and with big dark bags under my eyes, I was a little surprised when Love Bug put her hands on my cheeks, kissed me on the end of the nose and said to me: mumma, you are so beaufiful.

Apparently it really is in the eye of the beholder. And the beholder is pretty darned cute herself!

If you feel so inclined to help mumma out, it would be great if you could share #letsgetmummaajob. While I am working on a couple of side projects, they are not going to pay the bills … yet!

Oh, and don’t forget to join us for the #100morehappydays photo challenge.

All you need to do is:

  1. find one moment in each day that makes you happy {as significant or silly as you please and as in focus or capturing the moment as it needs to be too – it’s often difficult to be in the moment and try to capture it at the same time}
  2. take a photo of it
  3. load it to social media with the hashtag #100morehappydays

{Easy as 1, 2, 3. Simple as do, re, mi…}
