An open letter to bullies

Tasty Tuesday will make an appearance later today. For now, I have this to say to the bully who tried to have a negative effect on my world yesterday.

Hiding behind anonymity is not tough. It’s cowardly.

My integrity and true personality is obvious to those around me. People I have known forever, and people I have known for a relatively short period of time.

There is a lot of nastiness in the world. I don’t want any part of it. Anyone who knows me vaguely knows that I am a positive, happy and caring person.

I am not perfect. No-one is. I don’t aspire to being perfect – that would be boring! I aspire to be kind, to be someone who Love Bug looks up to … and always thinks her mumma is just lovely which is what she said to me last night when I told her I was just a little unhappy.

For my 2- and 4-legged family, I will fight bullies with every fibre of my being. I will not be bullied. I will not allow my family to be bullied.

stop bullying and start loving

Whoever you are, please take all of your negative energy and try to turn it into something positive. For yourself as much as for anyone else.

Nastiness like that will eat you up from the inside.

Here! Here! Well said! Wow i actually feel pity for anyone who is THAT miserable of a person to find anything to be negative about in BRTB! I don’t know you in real life but I will tell you that the day i found your blog i have been following religiously and i cannot thank you enough for all of the times you have made me light up inside with your posts and photos, with so much negativity in the world BRTB is a ray of sunshine & always leaves me feeling so glad that i came to ‘visit’. What a shame that ugly-spirited troll cannot take a leaf out of your book. I stand with you against bullies – Nik xoxo

    1. Thank you Nikki, I’m glad we spread sunshine into your world 🙂 xxx

  2. Bullies are awful. Blog bullies are the worst! We’re sending 2-legged and 4-legged love your way!

    1. Unfortunately it was bullying against mumma personally, but we know she’s lovely. Thanks for the extra loves. P,B&B xx

I’m sending extra cuggles your way. And one or two for that bully too. Bullies probably never got any cuggles and that’s why they’re bullies.

    1. I think so too Bongo, that’s why I suggested they might like to take their negative energy and turn it into something positive. Like cuggles. xx

I feel sorry for anyone who feels the need to put others down (especially over the internet) to make themselves feel good. Anyone who does that must live a very sad life indeed.

You are awesome so please try not to let their comments impact on you (easier said than done, I know). Love Bug, Bella and Beary are lucky to have you as their Mama, and we are lucky to be able to share your journey through your blog.

    1. Thank you. I’m doing what I always do and looking forward. And holding my lovelies close. xxx

  5. It’s amazing how damaging Bullying can be. I was bullied out of the job I trained for because the boss didn’t like me. It took him 5 years and nearly gave me a total break down. If I’m honest its still affecting me (he played horrible mind games) if you need anyone to talk to…..

So sorry you’ve been targetted by bullies, but totally agree with everything you said. Big hugs xx
