Scary dream spray

With scary dreams seemingly plaguing Love Bug at the moment, I’ve taken drastic measures and made some extra special mumma recipe scary dream spray.

Scary dream spray

For parents who need a little of this in their lives, here’s how: I got a spray bottle from the Dollar Store, printed a cute label, washi taped the label to the bottle and filled the bottle with water, a few drops of essential oil {we used a blend of wild lavender and freesia} and the extra special ingredient which fixes almost everything: a whole lot of love.

At bedtime each night we spray the room.

Love Bug told me she thinks it smells beautiful but the scary dreams and monsters will think it smells yucky. Which means it will hopefully work.

You might need to spray an extra top up dose in the middle of the night occasionally, but it’s the best remedy so far.

Sweet dreams.

  1. I know some moms who have made Monster Spray. This one is even more useful! Well done!

  2. Cassie says:

We have crumble spray which is what our little girl calls it, because she was having bad dreams about the gruffalo and it turns him into gruffalo crumble! Works wonders! Glad it is working for you too!

  3. My 4 – year-old has taken to just drawing a picture of her bad dream, as soon as she wakes up in the morning. She certainly seems to find relief from it.
