There is a rule unspoken: if you need to move but your dog is in your way {leaning on you, has fallen asleep on some part of you – or all of you, there’s a snout resting on your foot … you get the picture} you don’t move until the dog does.

You wait for them to move. All the while enjoying the unconditional love they give you. You feel a slight movement. This might be your chance. The head moves. Then this.

The unspoken rule applies. No moving for you, at least not for a while. Lucky it’s such a gorgeous view.
