My gorgeous happy Bubba stopped by for a visit for a little while before she went to bed last night. It was bliss.

It was as if the veil of aching gums and teeth lifted and my precious happy little friend was back. She was in the bath, waddling around (yes, waddling around – you try getting a toddler to sit down for her bath!) and she wandered up to where I was sitting on the edge and puckered up, threw her soapy arms around me and smacked my face with kisses. It doesn’t take much to make me happy.

Then, after her bath, she kept scurrying around the lounge room giggling and giving me and the dogs cuddles. Bella of course, was super happy with this. Beary was as ever weary of her sudden moves!

Grandma came to the farmers’ market with Bubba and me on Saturday. There was a lady there selling super cute winter hats for bubbas … you can guess the rest.

Beary seemed very interested in the puppy dog on top of Bubba’s head. Bubba, don’t be alarmed, but I think there’s a puppy growing on your head!

Cheeky mumma then tried the hat on Bella, who seemed a little less than impressed. You can almost hear her thinking – Mumma, take this silly hat off my head, put the camera away – and whatever you do, DO NOT put this photo anywhere public! (Sorry fuzzy love.) Beary was still curious.

So I did what any good mumma would do – shared the mischief!

It was nice to have some laughter and fun in our home again – no matter how fleeting.
