Last night I was watching the first of the movies I watch every Christmas, The Holiday (my other essential holiday viewing: The Family Stone and Love Actually) and I tweeted:
Dear Santa, I’m watching the holiday and just so you know – Jude Law would be okay.
Someone responded to my tweet: just okay? Ha ha ha! Okay, so he (or rather his character) would be more than okay. Particularly if he delivered his you’re lovely line early on.
Probably a little more realistic was my later Facebook status update: Bubba and I are so having one of those indoor tents!

I’m not your camping variety of girl. Bugs, uncomfortable beds, things that go bump in the night, no flushing toilet. Nope, not really my thing.
But this? This is the stuff of dreams. Happy, lovely, hanging out together, cuddled up, reading books, telling stories, laughing, giggling, tickling, making amazing memories dreams. And I can not wait to share them with my Love Bug!
Oh, and watching her in the movie last night reaffirmed for me: Cameron Diaz is totally playing me when my future published best-selling book becomes a Hollywood blockbuster.

Sounds like good casting. Indoor tents are the best. When Peanut had a bunkbed I actually made curtains that went all around so that she could tent every night, but she still strung sheets all over the place. Just something fun about that. Happy Holiday ❤ DogDaz
