If you know of one, please let us know!

Oh my gosh! You are right! I just did a search on domain. I put in all the things you wanted (which I would think are pretty standard and not too much to ask for) for the area you are in and the surrounding suburbs and it came up with a message saying “An exact match could not be found”. I hope something becomes available soon!

    1. We’ve looked at plenty of places: no storage, no wardrobes, no security, no bath, no pets … the list goes on! Even Love Bug, who really enjoys looking at houses, has now taken to saying ‘broken’ if the house doesn’t have a bath. Paws crossed something reasonably priced and perfect for us comes along soon.

    Hi,

I have Been Reading your blog ever since I got pregnant with my little girl, you have inspired me to be a better mumma to my bubba at times and I think you are doing an amazing job! (Sometimes I wish I live in Sydney so I could meet you!).

I’m sure you’ve already looked on gumtree but have you posted an ad with ‘wanted’ and your above requirements – we have an apartment that we let out and this is how I found my lovely new tenants. Anyway, just thought I’d share and hope this helps!

Keep being the amazing mumma you are!

    1. Thanks so much for sharing our story and for your lovely comments! I actually hadn’t thought about gumtree. Not sure why because one of my favourite ever housemates {and now lifelong friend} I found on there. Let me know if you’re ever visiting Sydney πŸ™‚

Gumtree would be a good place to look, I listed on there as we are over real estates and wanted to manage it ourselves, hopefully you can find some owners who are a lot more receptive to your fuzzy babies than real estates! I will hopefully be down in Sydney at some point for work (I am too a time poor working mumma) as my main office is down there. Good luck with your house hunting!

  4. Goodness, I feel your pain there. Trying to find a decent place that has a fenced yard, is pet friendly towards larger dogs, and is reasonably priced is a challenge. I’ve yet to find one that will work for us here. Hang in there though! Something will come along πŸ™‚
