Hiding from your pre-schooler when they are a solid half hour into a tantrum, and you’ve tried EVERY trick you know, isn’t easy.
Except when it’s 7am and you’re trying to get everyone organised and out the door and you need to shower. Ah, three minutes of the sound of water in your ears – mostly blocking out the screaming.
You think you’re alone in the bathroom until you hear the shower curtain rustle.
Oh, hi Beary.
Approximately 8 seconds later … hi Bella.
Their faces tell the exact story of how I was feeling and what I was thinking: When, oh when is she going to stop?
{Answer: approximately twenty minutes after this photo was taken!}
Gah! That is hilarious! Those little faces. They’re saying, “Help us, Mama… She’s gone crazy out there….”
Honestly, if they could have got in the shower with me, they would have! It was not funny. x
Aww bless you all!
I understand… days like this are so frustrating… sadly to admit but this makes me feel better knowing that others are going though this same thing with their toddlers…
