Last night, it seems my bed was that harbour, while the tempest that ravaged Sydney raged on outside. This was the scene at 2am. I had a couple of inches down one side!

I am so incredibly grateful to have a home, shelter, warmth and critters to love and be loved by.

And that we live in a city where we have amazing emergency services people.
